Supporting Physical Development in Early Childhood
Training description
This training is exclusively for Healthy Families Massachusetts staff.
This training supports home visiting staff in promoting physical development in young children from infancy
through the preschool years. Participants explore typical developmental milestones and learn how to
encourage growth through movement, play, and daily routines.
Together we’ll look at connection between physical development and overall well-being, highlighting the role of active play, health, safety, and nutrition. Learners also consider how sensorimotor experiences support coordination, strength, and body awareness. Please discuss this opportunity with your supervisor before registering.
This training is limited to Healthy Families Massachusetts staff. Registration by non-HFM staff is not permitted.
