Brockton resident Maria Leite has received The Children’s Trust Faces of Prevention Award, as she prepares to retire after more than two decades supporting young families in Brockton. The Children’s Trust is a public-private organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Massachusetts.

The Children’s Trust is proud to support the reauthorization of the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program, known as MIECHV. MIECHV provides critical federal funding for evidence-based home visiting programs that support pregnant women and parents of young children.
