Date September 3, 2026
Time 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Training description

Child sexual abuse concerns are often first noticed by neighbors, volunteers, coaches, family friends, faith community members, youth-serving staff, and others who may not hold mandated reporting responsibilities but still play an important role in child safety.

This training helps participants understand how signs of child sexual abuse may emerge through patterns, behaviors, boundary violations, grooming dynamics, disclosures, or changes in a child’s behavior or environment. Participants will learn how to recognize concerns without jumping to conclusions, respond in supportive and trauma-informed ways, and understand when and how to make a report to Child Protective Services.

Cost: Free for non-CEU attendees, $30 for CEU attendees.
