Training description
There are risks to children in all types of digital environments, such as the internet, smartphones, apps, and gaming platforms. Participants in this two-hour training will have opportunities to learn and discuss best practices for keeping children and youth safe from sexual abuse in digital environments. This training is for parents, caregivers, and community providers who are interested in learning more about how to prevent abuse and keep children safe on the internet.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will learn how to intervene to prevent grooming and other risky online behaviors to protect children and youth.
- Participants will develop the knowledge and skills to prevent online sexual abuse harm from occurring to children and youth.
