Wednesday, April 16 - 10:30 am
Massachusetts State House, Grand Staircase

Each April, we gather at the Grand Staircase to highlight the importance of prevention and how we all play a critical role in strengthening families and keeping kids safe.
Seventy pairs of shoes will line the steps to represent the average number of confirmed child abuse and neglect cases in Massachusetts every day.
Senator Robyn Kennedy, Chair of the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities, and Representative Susannah M. Whipps will receive the Valuing Our Children award at the event, honoring their dedication to Massachusetts children and families.
Together, we can end child abuse in Massachusetts.
