Golivia Patil Lee is an author, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate. As a survivor of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) and supporter of the Children's Trust, Golivia is passionate about helping children navigate trauma.
Golivia’s most recent children’s book, The Kernels Who Believed tells the story of overcoming challenges to reach your full potential.
When Golivia learned about the t-shirt company, company Do Work That Matters, she knew it was the perfect opportunity for collaboration and a way to raise awareness around child abuse prevention. Founded by 17-year-old Miller, Do Work That Matters creates t-shirts for professionals in industries that support their communities.
When Golivia teamed up with Miller to promote her children’s book they agreed that a portion of the t-shirt sales would be donated to the Children’s Trust.
“I am very passionate about serving the next generation and how to work with others to prevent it [child abuse] from happening. I found the Children’s Trust and they were doing great work, so I wanted to support that,” said Golivia
