The Children’s Trust is excited to announce the release of Funding for New Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) Request for Responses (RFR). The EBP grants will be used to support the implementation of these groups-based programs in Massachusetts:
Familias Unidas was developed by the University of Miami’s School of Nursing and Health Studies for adolescents ages 12-16 who identify as Hispanic/Latinx and their families to prevent substance use and risky sexual behavior.

- Friends of the Children – Boston
- YWCA of Lowell
Strong African American Families (SAAF) was developed by the University of Georgia’s Center for Family Research for youth ages 10-14 who identify as African American/Black and their families to prevent substance abuse and other risky behaviors.

- Martin Luther King Jr. Family Services
- New England Community Services
These EBP Grants are administered by the Children’s Trust of Massachusetts.
