On Sunday, August 20, 2023, our inaugural Children’s Trust Charity team ran the Falmouth Road Race, an iconic 7-mile road race that attracts athletes from across the globe.

The team was made up of Children’s Trust staff, board, supporters, and other committed members of our community – running to end child abuse in Massachusetts.

Together, our team of eight raised more than $11,000 in support of child abuse prevention!

This is the first year that the Children’s Trust has participated in the Falmouth Road Race Numbers for Nonprofit program. The Numbers for Nonprofits charity runner program helps Massachusetts-based charities in raising vital funds and gives runners the opportunity to run on behalf of a charity that resonates with them. Since 2000, the program has helped charity partners raise over $56.5 million and bring awareness to their causes.
