Faces of Prevention

share:

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and while it is our mission to end child abuse in Massachusetts, we do not do this work alone. From Healthy Families home visitors to Family Center staff, and family support professionals across the state - everyone plays a role in keeping Massachusetts children safe.

The Children’s Trust is launching a new initiative called Faces of Prevention to recognize family support professionals and other staff who are making a difference in their work to prevent child abuse and support families in Massachusetts.

Each month, honorees will be recognized with a certificate and gift card, and will be publicly acknowledged on social media and in a press release to their hometown newspaper.

A Children’s Trust Faces of Prevention honoree represents the following values:

  • Provides steady support to families and serves as a resource in their field
  • Advocates for strong families and child abuse prevention in their community
  • Demonstrates compassion and understanding in difficult situations
  • Serves as a true partner to families and colleagues dedicated to preventing child abuse

If you are interested in nominating your colleague and helping us spread awareness of the good work professionals across Massachusetts are doing to help families thrive, please submit a nomination below!
