The Children's Trust Virtual Gala

share:

On Thursday, October 14, guests from across the state came together to celebrate the strength and resilience of children and families impacted by the Children's Trust.

From honoring the extraordinary work of our staff and program partners to hearing inspiring and powerful stories from our program participants - this year's Gala highlighted why our work to end child abuse in Massachusetts is needed now more than ever.

Guests heard the inspiring story of Kenddy, mom to two-year-old Armani, who credits the relationships she developed and guidance she received through the Children's Trust Healthy Families program with helping her and Armani navigate through a difficult time this past year.

“It's like having a second chance at life because I get to do things differently than my parents did.”

Mike shared how our Nurturing Fathers program gave him the support and guidance he needed to become a more engaged and caring father to his daughter, Adele, and how the Children's Trust continues to inspire him to learn and grow.

“My daughter's future is going to be bright.”

Children's Trust Fatherhood Initiative Coordinator, Mike Ramos, and Program Participant, Nate Parrilla, joined us during Thursday's live stream to share the impact of our Healthy Families program and the importance of being actively involved in children's lives.

Our Executive Director, Suzin Bartley, highlighted why our work to protect children and support families across Massachusetts is needed now more than ever and shared the value of building resiliency. Resilience helps parents overcome the challenges that come with raising children and is a key component of our programs.

Special thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and everyone who tuned in to support our mission to end child abuse across Massachusetts.

Together, we can end child abuse. Support our work today.
