The Massachusetts Legislative Task Force on the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse, co-chaired by the Children's Trust and the Child Advocate of Massachusetts, is holding its second community forum on September 26 at the Athol Public Library.

The Greenfield Recorder publicized the forum:

The task force, created by the Massachusetts Legislature, ran an initial pilot forum in Topsfield and tapped Athol in hopes of attracting youth serving organizations and other appropriate agencies. There will be a presentation on the major findings and recommendations of a nearly 300-page report the task force finalized and provided to the Legislature in late June...

The task force plans to have these regional, community-based forums in different parts of the state. The forums will be an opportunity to talk about child abuse and neglect.
