Our Website Relaunch

Children's Trust Updates

The Children’s Trust Website Launch

The Children’s Trust to excited to announce our website relaunch, that went live on Thursday, September 25. As our organization continues to grow, we believe this redesign will better accommodate our evolving needs and provide users with an experience that is accessible, mobile-responsive, and more meaningful. As a public-private organization working toward a Massachusetts free from child abuse and neglect, we partner with organizations and communities to drive systemic change to address the root causes of abuse and neglect so that all children can grow up in thriving families.

We hope our new website serves as a resource to all involved in our efforts.

Listed below are just a few of the new features you will find:

Improved User Experience

With intuitive navigation and clear call-to-action areas, the site was designed to guide users to exactly where they are looking to go within one or two clicks. Clear headings and titles will allow our audiences to identify what information each page contains. The site was built with accessibility at the forefront – adapting across all devices, with fast load times, flexible layouts, and an intuitive menu that stays with you on every page.

Spotlight on Our Partners

Systems change requires collaboration and sustained commitment. The Children’s Trust works with partners across sectors and communities to coordinate efforts, share knowledge and resources, and spark the bold ideas and big actions that redefine how Massachusetts supports families. We believe each and every one of them should be celebrated and honored. With sections dedicated to our partners, along with an interactive map, we hope to elevate the importance of collaboration.

Showcasing Our Initiatives & Impact

From impactful data and statistics to stories, testimonials, and quotes, we want to ensure the impact we are making on communities across Massachusetts is visible to all users. With public access to our annual reports and financial statements, we hope to build lasting trust with our donors, stakeholders, and family support professionals through transparency of where resources are being used effectively.

Updated Trainings & Resources

Training plays a critical role in prevention. Through consideration of users’ feedback, the new site provides a streamlined Training Hub that shows the variety of trainings offered by the Children’s Trust. With dates and times of upcoming trainings along with brief descriptions of what each training entails, those interested can simply click on a training, which will bring them to a more in-depth description, along with a learning objective and a link to register.

Accessibility

The Children’s Trust is committed to providing a fully accessible website experience for all users of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies like screen readers, screen enlargement software, and alternative keyboard input devices to navigate the web. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 as our guiding principle for determining accessibility and will continue our ongoing commitment to accessibility through updates and improvements.

This website was designed to better reflect our mission, our growth, and our continued commitment to creating a Massachusetts free from child abuse and neglect. We look forward to you exploring our new digital home and seeing how every update was built to better serve our partners and the public.
