Each April, the Children’s Trust gathers at the Massachusetts State House to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month. Join us to learn how we’re addressing the root causes of child abuse and neglect and how your support can help families thrive.

We will be honoring Senator Jo Comerford, Senate Chair, Joint Committee on Higher Education and Representative Jay Livingstone, House Chair, Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities with the Valuing Our Children award in recognition of their dedication to supporting children and families across the Commonwealth.

Stepping Up to End Child Abuse

On Wednesday, April 16, Children's Trust advocates, program partners, board members, and legislators gathered for our annual Step Up for Kids event at the Massachusetts State House to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month and draw attention to a critical need: investing in the family support workforce.
