Training description
This training is exclusively for Healthy Families Massachusetts staff.
Understanding how young children think and learn is essential to providing responsive, developmentally appropriate care. This training supports home visiting staff in deepening their knowledge of cognitive development from birth through age 5. Learners explore the stages of development—Sensorimotor and Preoperational—and examine the ways young children develop key cognitive skills such as attention, memory, reasoning, and problem-solving. Please discuss this opportunity with your supervisor before registering.
This training is limited to Healthy Families Massachusetts staff. Registration by non-HFM staff is not permitted.
