It Takes a Village to Protect a Child

share:

As Child Abuse Prevention Month comes to an end, the Children’s Trust is calling on all of our supporters to step up with us to create a world without child abuse. We all know that stopping abuse before it starts deserves far more attention than one month of the year. That’s why we are leading the movement in Massachusetts to make it the priority it deserves to be.

Thirty years ago, the Children's Trust formed to bring all sectors of society together to address the issue of child abuse and neglect. Thirty years later, we are clearer than ever on what works and what’s needed in order to protect kids and to see them thrive.

We know that solving the pervasive crisis of child abuse and neglect in our communities requires bold action. It requires people stepping up together in every corner of our Commonwealth.

It truly does take a village to ensure that all of our kids grow up safe and healthy. Everyone has a role to play. It starts with taking responsibility for creating a world and a Commonwealth without child abuse.

From now until May 22nd, one way you can step up big to stop child abuse is by joining our #StepUpStopAbuse 30-day step challenge. Sign up today and you’ll get a personal fundraising page that you can use to support our work to prevent child abuse. And thanks to a generous donor, all donations that come in through this platform will be matched – up to $30,000!

Step Up Stop Abuse

We know we can stop child abuse. Our programs have proven it. But to make it a reality for all Massachusetts kids, we must work together to make it the priority it should be.
