15 minutes of fame, for a cause

share:

Every 15 minutes, one child is confirmed as abused or neglected in Massachusetts. The good news is that, together, we can stop child abuse and neglect.

That is why we launched the #every15minutes awareness campaign for Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.

We’re asking you – our friends, supporters, and champions of MA children – to lend your smile and hands to the cause:

  • Take a one five “selfie” (you’ll likely need someone to snap it for you) to draw attention to the harm that happens every 15 minutes to kids in Massachusetts. Left hand: 5. Right hand: 1.

  • Make it your social media profile picture and add this text to the description:

April is #ChildAbusePreventionMonth. #Every15Minutes, one child is confirmed as abused or neglected in Massachusetts. The good news is that, together, we can stop child abuse and neglect. You can help: every15.org.

  • To go all-out, add the #every15minutes profile overlay and "Go orange for April!"

Post your photos with the hashtags #every15minutes and #stopchildabuse, and we’ll share them. You’ll get your 15 minutes of fame, and together we’ll be building the movement to stop child abuse in Massachusetts.
